Getting Started

1. Clone the repository to your local machine.

   git clone https://github.com/Kidus-berhanu/Movie-FLIX.git
   

2. Install the necessary dependencies for both frontend and backend.

// For backend cd MovieFlix/NotFlixapi

npm install 

// For frontend cd MovieFlix/ npm install

3. Set up your environment variables.

   • Create a .env file in NotflixAPI directory.
   • Add your MongoDB URI, JWT secret, and OpenAI API key.
   • navigate to src/environments and add your open ai api key in both .ts and prod.ts

4. Start the backend server in cd movie-flix/notflixapi.

   npm start server
   

5. Launch the frontend application. cd movie-flix

   ng serve
   

6. Open your web browser and navigate to http://localhost:4200.
