This software is designed for use with astronomical images obtained through robotic telescopes. It allows the creation of full-colour images by combining images taken with RGB filters, and the reduction of noise from other images obtained from astronomical telescopes.
It was developed in 2016 as part of my time studying abroad at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
The following software is recommended for running the image compositor
- Microsoft Windows 7 and later
- Java Runtime Environment
The following software may be used to build new versions for other systems, although no support is available for this
- Java Development Kit
- Install the dependencies listed above
- Run runMe.bat on the target system OR
- Run runMe-build.bat to build a new version of the software and run it
