I suspect the word "edition" is added if there is an editor even if there is no edition number.

The bug is outside of our repo, namely here:

https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/blob/master/association-for-computational-linguistics.csl

Doesn't seem to have anything to do with editors, the citation style adds the "edition" text for certain bibtypes without caring if there is actually an "edition" value or not. At least that's my interpretation.

To address the problem that "edition" is being printed spuriously (acl-org/acl-anthology#2156).
