I understand that unsupported versions don't get bug fixes. I will attempt to reproduce the issue on a supported version of Pulsar client and Pulsar broker.

@chenrui333 It seems that the Pulsar version in homebrew is outdated. Should use Pulsar version 3.2.2. Do you have a chance to upgrade to 3.2.2 and retry?
