Slow startup times

Is anyone else experiencing slow startup times recently?

v1.3.2 on Arch

btop is taking ~5s to start after it clears the screen, and it used to be instantaneous / <1s.

I've renamed the config file to use the defaults and the problem persists

Any tips of what I can do to investigate it?

I narrowed it down with strace btop: it seems one of the battery readings was taking multiple seconds. I worked around it by disabling the feature in the settings:

show_battery = False
