Based on the ubuntu-server 18.04.2 image, apt install xorg-dev leads to missing xcb-shape, xcb-render and xcb-xfixes. I had to install libxcb-present-dev or libxcb-composite0-dev etc. to get those dependencies.

I understand that clipboard doesn't make sense on ubuntu-server anyway, but that's where I develop on, and I just want it to compile.

Based on some poking around the actual libraries needed are:

libxcb-shape0-dev
libxcb-xfixes0-dev

at least on my 16.04 travis-ci box.

I proposed a fix to the README here: #69

It took me a long time to find it here. It should be already merged, shouldn't it?
