(previous voting round: #18)

  • Transcribe compensation requests to spreadsheet
  • Announce and provide instructions via the bisq-contrib mailing list
  • Review all edits to the spreadsheet to ensure there weren't any mistakes, etc
  • Announce that the voting period is complete
  • Update the phase zero doc as appropriate
  • Write up a post-mortem / retrospective on the mailing list to see what we've learned

Closing as complete. From https://lists.bisq.network/pipermail/bisq-contrib/2018-January/000053.html:

The results for our last voting period are as follows:

6 contributors submitted 6 compensation requests during this period.

Total compensation requested was 51,600 BSQ.
Total compensation received was 51,600 BSQ.

With October, November and December, we have now completed 3 voting periods.
In total, we have approved the creation of 118,850 new BSQ, 40,000 BSQ per month on average.

The next months should get more interesting, as a number of new contributors have been getting involved.

Thanks to everyone who contributed and to everyone who voted!

Also note that with regard to #26 (comment), I addressed the importance of submitting and approving compensation requests only for completed work in this youtube video with @ManfredKarrer, and after watching it, @sqrrm later agreed that this approach makes sense: https://youtu.be/fzvbOuqX9zs
