@stevenbrix Is this premature? Will .NET Native still be relevant in .NET 6 or is everything converging toward IL Linker? |

@tommcdon is probably the right person to ask, but AFAIK .NET Native is not going to be supported in .NET6, I think we're converging to IL Linker. What about xr.xml files? Those are files the Xaml compiler generates, and fed to the .NET Native linker so that types used in markup aren't trimmed away. Is that a scenario we need to make sure the IL Linker supports, or will it just work? |
