Some scripts/utilities I'm using to create a slightly modified keyboard layout better suited for programming with a Swedish keyboard.
Modifications to the keyboard:
- Remaps curly and straight brackets to the location they are on a typical English kbdlayout, but only if ctrl is pressed (E.g., ctrl-å will give you a [
- Since I use ~ and ^ quite often I don't want dead key behavior here and disable it. In addition, I ensure that ~ is reached without pressing Alt-Gr
- Shift-4 remapped to $
- The paragraph key (above tab) is remapped to @. Shift-paragraph key is remapped to \
