Yelp-camp

Introduction

As a part of learning my full stack web developement course I have made this project Yelp camp ⛺ .Yelp camp is used to connect campers with campgrounds across the world.Learnt lot of stuff during this journey.This project made me fell in love with web developement 😍 ❤️ . This project is made using Javascript frameworks like Nodejs and Express used some amazing tools like flash, express sessions and passport which made my work very easy in developement of project . Deployed project at https://yelp-camp-harsha.herokuapp.com/

Inital setup

1. Clone github repository locally using terminal using command

git clone https://github.com/harshareddy794/Yelp-camp.git

2. Install all dependencies using command

npm install

3. Start server using command

node app.js

Tools used

• Mongo atlas - Cloud based mongo database server
• Cloudinary - Cloud based image storage
• Passport - Used for authentication process
• Flash - Used for falsh notifications
• Nodemailer - Used to send mails for password reset for users
