DESCRIPTION:

A middleware gem for interfacing with Global eTelecom’s ACH processing service.

FEATURES:

  • Merchant Applications

  • Transaction Processing

TODO:

Realtime transaction processing is currently limited to authorization. Merchant applications are more fully-featured.

SYNOPSIS:

Merchant Application:

client = Geti::AppClient.new(credentials)
response = client.board_merchant_ach(merchant_params)

Transaction Processing

client = Geti::AuthClient.new(credentials, {:sec_code => 'WEB', :verify => []})
response = client.process({
  :type => :authorize,
  :amount => 1000,
  :first_name => 'Bob',
  :last_name => 'Smith',
  :account_type => 'Checking',
  :routing_number => routing_number(:authorization),
  :account_number => '1234567890'
})

REQUIREMENTS:

INSTALL:

  • bundle install

DEVELOPERS:

After checking out the source, bundle to install gems, run specs with ‘rspec`.

If you want to run the specs in the remote dir, you’ll need to provide ‘config/test_credentials.yml` (an example file is present).

Contributing

  • Check out the latest master to make sure the feature hasn’t been implemented or the bug hasn’t been fixed yet.

  • Check out the issue tracker to make sure someone already hasn’t requested it and/or contributed it.

  • Fork the project.

  • Start a feature/bugfix branch.

  • Commit and push until you are happy with your contribution.

  • Make sure to add tests for it. This is important so I don’t break it in a future version unintentionally.

  • Please try not to mess with the Rakefile, version, or history. If you want to have your own version, or is otherwise necessary, that is fine, but please isolate to its own commit so I can cherry-pick around it.
