UI mobile problems still persistent #29
Comments
I've investigated the problem as well as the previous ones that @krakan mentioned and I have a tentative solution. It needs a bit more testing to verify that it actually survives real world data as well as different mobile devices but it has been quite resistant so far. The solution seem to work well all the way to slightly below 300px in width. |
I made some tweaks to the font sizes to make it look ok on my android phone but I'm still interested in seeing your solution. |
Gotten new phone, OneNote 8 Pro, and it still looks wrong as shown above when I look at the page in Firefox app on the phone. |
The problem has gotten better. For whatever reason when I start micronomy on Firefox on my Phone (same OnePlus as mentioned before) the page is ever so slightly zoomed in. So the right sight of the page is slightly outside the screen. However, now the UI is much smaller than my original image, so it doesn't really bother me any more. Your call if you want to put in more time to figure out why the size is every slightly too large, or just call it good enough and close this. For my own sake, the problem is a non-issue with the smaller UI. |
This is mainly for @Bluebottel.
Trying the new style, my phone also started to have issues with the styling. As you can see in the screen shot the boxes goes outside the screen on the right. Not terrible, but slightly annoying.
What is more annoying is that when you zoom out to see the whole page, then scroll down, the styling auto zoom in again, making it too zoomed in and elemts get showed to the right side, or out side the right side of the screen.
I have provided a screenshot to illustrate the problem.
