# An information dense, but short, reusable post

Matt Fisher - A research software developer with 15 years of experience and
passionate about open source, developer experience, community ownership,
accessibility, and inclusivity. I'm an open-source software developer and maintainer,
certified Carpentries instructor, co-author of QGreenland, and co-author and instructor of
QGreenland 2023 Researcher Workshop, a 3-day hands-on open-source workshop that
broke ground by running the QGIS geospatial analysis environment at classroom
scale in the cloud.
