Astrology.ir was created with the aim of reviving Iranian-style astrology by approaching it from a scientific, research-based, and computational perspective, utilizing the teachings of scholars like Abu Rihan al-Biruni.
Our initial objective is to publish daily astrological calculations, followed by interpretations that not only eliminate the need for almanacs but also provide extensive information beyond available resources.
Although our focus is on Iranian-style astronomy, we acknowledge other styles of astrology. Therefore, we publish both sidereal and western astrological calculations.
At Astrology.ir, we strive to utilize the latest and most accurate ephemerides. We rely on the most up-to-date information available from NASA's JPLS HORIZONS project for our calculations, followed by algorithms designed in-house.
