And I want to configure the module oe_webtools_analytics

It would makes much more sense business wise, no ?

I think the alias is quite alright from business point of view as well. On the other hand I'm following this way to remain consistent with the rest of the components.

Consistency is key, true.
But... if for every ticket, we create 3 sub-tickets, we have an issue.
I propose to tackle those issue "on-the-go" and slowly refine everywhere properly.

Then I should see "Webtools Analytics settings"
When I fill in "Site ID" with "123456"
And I fill in "Site path" with "ec.europa.eu/info"
