Chess Competition

• WHAT: The competition is to pit two computer chess engines in a match, best 3 of 5.
• WHERE: R.C., S.D.
• WHEN: Week of Dec 22, 2014.
• WHY: FOR HONOR! And beer.

Additional details:

The programmer of the winning engine receives 24-beers of their choice. The beer shall be sold in either 24-pack or 12-pack varieties, not a mix-and-match.

An early meetup shall take place during the week of Sept 8th to perform testing to ensure connectivity.

Test Environment Instructions

1. Install Oracle VM VirtualBox
2. Install Vagrant.
3. $ vagrant init
4. $ vagrant up
5. $ vagrant ssh
6. $ xboard
7. Configure XBoard using the GUI to use the chess engines.
8. Start match.
9. ???
10. Profit!
