It would be an improvement. I say this at almost all your PRs: there's no fundamental reason why we can't compile a full node on WASM, and we should therefore limit our platform-specific code to the very strict minimum. |

A recent tokio update seems to not compile on
wasm32-unknown-unknown. The easiest work around for this is to just not pull in things likepolkadot-validationthat we don't use in the light client anyway.
