AMQP 0-9-1 to AMQP 1.0 version

Filing here because it feels like the most appropriate place.

There's enough interest in an AMQP 0-9-1 to 1.0 Shovel plugin. We should investigate it. Note that it will be a separate plugin instead of an extension to this one.

effort-high because we need to develop a 1.0 Erlang/Elixir client first.

Note that Shovels between two protocols can work both ways. Currently we see more interest in the "1.0 source, 0-9-1 target" scenario (of course, this can be due to selection bias).

We've developed a new library, an Erlang AMQP 1.0 client (which is in no way specific to RabbitMQ and was tested against at least 3 other brokers), as part of this issue.
