It turns out there is something odd with your URL on github - there is 'LearnBoost' and 'learnboost'.

I was unable to install socket.io using 'ntp submodule socket.io' -

% npt submodule socket.io

So I see you have moved socket.io repository - but there is a similar issue with stylus package too.
Same error, but in that case the username in the URL needs to be changed to LearnBoost.
