We aim to do two things.
- Compare the networks of partnership in two EU funded research programmes, called 7th Framework Programme 2007-2015 (FP7) and Horizon 2020 2014-2020 (H2020). The raw data for this part are retrievable from the European Commission's open data website:
- https://open-data.europa.eu/en/data/dataset/cordisfp7projects
- https://open-data.europa.eu/en/data/dataset/cordis-h2020projects-under-horizon-2020-2014-2020
- Produce recommendation for the European Commission on how to release this type of data in the future so as to enable reuse and civic hacking.
The work started as a hackathon track of SOD16, the fourth gathering of the Spaghetti Open Data community.
