I'm not sure it's only related to slow internet connection, it seems also related to some ISP who are resolving non-existing domains. They explain on emacs-helm/helm#1000 that tramp pings If it's really this, it's probably better to change the question to something more general, like "Why is my Spacemacs hanging on startup?" |
