I suggest using Github's issue tracker to upload the image. While probably an abuse of the feature, here's a link to Github's own Phil Haack https://stackoverflow.com/a/20959426 admitting to doing just that. For example, if I upload @rhoit 's image at the bottom of this post… you can now use Probably better than using a repo, as the image can't be changed/deleted accidentally.

Edit: Could also use https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/896684/34787401-fb9e6076-f5eb-11e7-901b-24acf1b4a3c9.png if you'd rather have a screenshot with some text in the buffers (but it's a bit cluttered).
