I personally don't use Frigate, but there have been numerous requests for a version that doesn't require Docker. While I can't confirm its efficacy or even if it works correctly, this version leverages hardware acceleration, USB passthrough, Coral drivers, TensorFlow, FFmpeg, and more—all without Docker. |

I’ve tried so many of NVR software, none of them were perfect: Shinobi, Viseron, AgentDvr. These apps have some nice features which I miss in Frigate. But Frigate does it’s job without nag-screens or counter-intuitive configs. I’ve decided upon to stick with Frigate. |

Well, I guess we'll see if it is functioning well enough. 🤞🏻 Adding to the website. |

Awesome stuff. Regarding the log files, Frigate stores them in |

Have you tried not using the driver? I used this line (in my LXC_ID.conf file) to give my frigate lxc acces to the Coral USB port: lxc.mount.entry: /dev/bus/usb/002 dev/bus/usb/002 none bind, optional, create=dir 0, 0 My interference speeds varies between 8 and 11 ms. |

Hey everyone, what is the status of Frigate 0.14.x? Supposedly there are pretty huge improvements compared to 0.13.2. I see that there was a point release today (0.14.1) and I was wondering if there was anything I could do to get my 0.13.2 install updated. I have had my LXC installed for a month or so but only getting around to setting it up now - not sure if I should stick with an LXC or switch over to a docker container. Suggestions welcome. |

Hi @remz1337, I'm using your script and I'm also having trouble when creating a new LXC. This happens regardless of the options, even with default or no nvidia passthrough:

script worked great a few weeks ago, but trying to get hardware acceleration working somehow killed my lxc config and had to reinstall. Now, after many attempts on 2 machines, I can't get this to work. frigate will run will all defaults, but that's it. It won't load the yml, and go2rtc is not working at all |

While I installed with this script a two days ago, it now errors out. It cannot resolve addresses. |

I saw the multiple reports that something broke in the last few days. I'm suspecting an issue with one of the dependencies. I will be investigating this, but since @tteck officially removed it from his website, I suggest we close this discussion thread and move any issue to my repo: https://github.com/remz1337/Proxmox |

As a user of Intel igpu, will your version still work? I guess everyone
can't use tteck now because he nuked it? Kind of annoying because it works
perfectly fine on my end.

I've just managed to create a "script" with which you should be able to create a fully working Frigate LXC container, without Docker.
I've described the process here:
https://github.com/GrumpyMeow/proxmox-tips/blob/main/frigate-docker-lxc.md
@tteck Would you be willing to accept this as a "Proxmox Helper Script"?
I know you don't accept "non-native LXC container solutions", but this technique is maybe interesting...
Thanks!
