@jlantunez are you interested in help with this feature? I'd be interested in helping.

I would like to help with adding a slides index/table of contents for the story, which would be a vertical table of context, which could include a scrollable and/or accordion UI for longer stories. The index/ToC could include a feature be an offscreen slider, similar to the Nexus style menu: https://tympanus.net/Tutorials/GoogleNexusWebsiteMenu/

It may make sense to open separate issues for each the following, but I'd also be interested helping to add some tiled navigation features. It's a bit difficult to describe, but the closest example would be navigation features on flowtime.js (http://marcolago.github.io/flowtime.js/)? In particular, there are 3 features that I'd be interested in helping add to WebSlides:

1. Tiled Nav/Index: A mini tiled navigation, similar to what appears in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen in http://marcolago.github.io/flowtime.js/ -- but which would ideally be collapsible / offscreen.

2. Header & Footer Nav/Index: A header/footer that to denote story flow, and where in the story you are. Although I would make this much more minimalist: http://marcolago.github.io/flowtime.js/examples/page-titles-in-navigation/

3. Overview Nav/Index: the ability to zoom out of the story and see all slides on screen. As an example see: http://marcolago.github.io/flowtime.js/#/section-2/page-4 (you need to press the escape key)

I was thinking that these might be worthwhile features, as they are related to helping with the storytelling, "sliding and presentation itself "(per the FAQ, as opposed to just pure technical features). I can help with the roadmap/architecture considerations, and then subsequent development (I'll start by building developing them for a presentation I'm doing next month, and will do so in a manner that the work can be abstracted into a new feature).

Hey @willykaram this has been an ongoing effort by @displaynone which is on the zoom branch which is basically the work you outline on point 3.

@Belelros thanks for pointing me to that branch. I read through all the open/closed issues, but forgot to check out the other branches. I'll review that to see how I can assist and perhaps try and contribute solutions for #1 & #2 above, which dovetail with the work that @displaynone is doing.
