Project: Evolution of Innovation
Step 1: download files from Google APIs using fdownload.sh
Step 2: collect city, state, country information for each inventor using ExtractLoc1.sh
Step 3: python files for data wrangling, analysis, and visualization are shown in InnoEvoProject-demo.ipynb
Figure 1 (2014map.png): a representitive snap shot of inventors count in each cities (top 100). The marker size is proportional to inventors count.
Figure 2 (Allpatent.png): from 2002 to 2014, number of patents granted per week.
