Treesaver doesn't work with file:// URLs

This is due to browser security restrictions around XMLHttpRequest (which Treesaver uses in order to load Resources and article content). In order to develop or test Treesaver pages on your own machine, you must access them via a local web server.

Internet Explorer sometimes displays "Operation Aborted" on my Treesaver articles

This can be avoided by serving your HTML files with a default character set that matches the encoding used in your meta element.
