Convention for Chinese Translation
This page aims to provide a discussion place for the convention/translation issues. The discussed issues will be put into a CONVENTION.md file that could be used as the source and the reference for the Chinese translation.
Uncertainties at the translation can also be discussed here.

The RST constructs requires spaces before and after the word. But in Chinese language, no space should be used. The solution is to escape the space with a backslash:
\ *重要*\ instead of *重要*
Some words of latin origin are italicized in the original text. For example
*e.g*, *i.e.*
Obviously, if they are translated, one shouldn't be using them in italic style, since they are now Chinese words:
