DataTree isn't a Generic tree type. It's a specific tree type -- the nodes are DataTree objects. This was resulting in many cases where mypy insisting on explicit type annotations, e.g., `tree: DataTree = DataTree(...)`, which is unnecessary and annoying boilerplate.
